Maybe they wanted to put that in if a custom RPG game was made in the editor?
Still.... 9 colours and 12 players..........
"There currently are 9 player colors." Maybe they just haven't decied the other 3. Besides, the 12 players was the aim, but maybe it didin't work so the nerfed it to 9.
Less than 12 players will greatly impact the gameplay I seriously doubt they’ll have only 9 players. In fact I’d hope for more players, just to increase the potential for custom mapping… how is DOTA going to happen with just 9 players.. it’ll be a 4v4 game - nope… blizzard aren’t that stupid… they’ll definitely increase this number of colors. 9 is just the ones they are mentioning at the moment.
Hmm the 9 colours mentioned by Cydra are 9 out of the 12 colours used in warcraft 3. My guess would go on them wanting to have 3 new colours not used in wc3, and they simply haven’t decided on which to use yet.
we have seen screenshots of a Lime Green [kinda gatorade-y] Thor… so im betting on Lime Green.
also, i wouldnt be surprised to see Cyan [ultra-blue] or Teal and Brown come back.
Am I the only one who thought “It’s not pink, it’s lightish red” here?
If so, yes it’s a reference to something.
The 12 colors should be:
1. Red
2. Blue
3. Light Blue
4. Green
5. Yellow
6. Orange
7. Purple
8. Pink
9. Black
10. White
11. Gray
12. Brown
Those are all very distingushable from each other and you wouldnt mix them up if you were playing a 12 player game. i hope they do 12 players it would be more fun than just 9
