Battle Report 4 Out

Battle Report 4 is out, even if the official page is not showing it yet.

Whether if it’s leaked or not is unknown at this point. Last time we thought it was leaked, it was actually an exclusive blizzard had given to a European gaming site.

The BR has been close to publication for quite some time, and was originally dated for September, but better late than never!

We have currently downloaded the film, and we are uploading it to IncGamers.tv. It will be available here on the StarCraft site, as well as here.

Some notes from BR4:

1. Siege tanks is used for the first time and we see how important the high ground really is in StarCraft II
2. Psi storm in action for the first time.
3. Dropships in action and use of high ground.
4. Nuclear warfare in its full glory.
5. Reapers and stimpacks used in full effect.
5. Hellions are used to full advantage for the first time.

Update! Seems like it was not at all a leak, but a Gamer.nl 24 hours exclusive:

The Starcraft 2 Battle Reports show a complete match in the upcoming RTS game show. In the fourth episode, in Netherlands 24 hours long Gamer.nl exclusively at shows, you can battle between the Protoss and Terran behold.

Does psi storm seem overpowered? It seems to deal damage much faster than the original.. which doesn’t give you any time to avoid it.

The great thing about the original psi storm is that you could evade most of the damage if you were paying attention. Now it doesn’t look like you have this option. The animation does look pretty sick though.

i think the psi storm deals much damege in a very short time (3seconds), For example in first second all Marauder ar killed that mean the psi does at least 125 damege per second....in my opinion.... the mechanical of psi storm has changed?? (i think in the SC1, psi storm does 80 damege per second and takes at least 5 sec) the animation .... hm ..... look different :))

Yeah.. it seems like it does relatively the same total damage, just in less time. However, I think one of the great things about psi storm is that it gave you a chance to escape it... and for the caster, you would throw down multiple storms trying to predict the escape routes.. that's much more fun/challenging I think than just a massive explosion that you don't have time much to escape from... which is what it looks like now.

This is dumb, you cant avoid the psi storm, this will do terrible damage against the zerg. Psi storm will be able to wipe hydra, lings, anything before you can move ur units. Psi storm is over powered. Zerg air units are under powered

Thanks for the report guys, but I think it would have been easier to read if you had left the text from Gamer.nl in Dutch. And I don’t speak Dutch.
