We have had many promises during the WWI interviews and articles, mentioned both by StarCraft and Diablo 3 Blizzard CMs, that Battle.net will have an upgrade. Not in clear words perhaps, but since they are all hinting it, and that no major updates are made on the current boards, it really isn’t hard to put one and one together…
This is what happens in the 21st century with old forum software; thousands of PAGES of spam. Posts in the hundreds of thousands.
Lets pray for the developers at Blizzard to get the new Battle net up and running as soon as possible!

I think spam will always be a problem ... unfortunately.
That’s not to say it can’t be reduced, I hope Blizzard comes up with some ideas to better manage it because the current system they have just isn’t coping.
Indeed not. But the WoW boards are basically free of this. I assume they will shape up the boards a lot with the new battle.net
It’s a combination of slow loading time, bad mouse and no stop from doubleposting on the site. Don’t worry, Wuushu will fix that sometime “soon”. We got an apprentice web dev as well, so perhaps this is a job for him…
