The US NPD Sales Charts for August 3rd to 9th are in, and they continue to be a one-developer-story, taking half of the positions without even releasing a new game yet. WoW, Diablo and WarCraft are covering the positions with primarily battle chests.
If you ask why StarCraft isn’t on there, it’s probably because WarCraft III is a similar game and newer. StarCraft got its influx of buyers around the same time the sequel was announced, much like Diablo II and Diablo III now. WoW will soon get it’s second expansion, which probably is a reason for their current success.
