Back on August 5, 2009, Activision Blizzard made a few announcements during the Q2 earnings conference call, but none as heart-shattering with the fact that Starcraft II beta had been postponed from its late summer schedule. Bob Kotick and Mike Morhaime explained Battle.net 2.0 was not ready yet, and it was still in development by Greg Canessa and his team.
