Our new StarcraftWire Community member Ape has taken the initiative from the start to be a part of the community, and started a
StarcraftWire IRC channel.
For everyone that don't know what IRC is, it's the first proper chat protocol of the internet, and still one of the most popular. When talking to lots of people at the same time, it's very very handy.
We invite everyone using IRC to
#StarcraftWire @ irc.quakenet.org, and if you don't have an IRC client you should check out
this forum thread by Ape. It's not very complicated and it's an easy way to contact myself, or other members of the community.
It's also great for general StarCraft 2 or video gaming chit-chat. It's like the Community Forum and the Off topic forum combined, but live! It will never overtake the forums as the important meeting point, but a good way to see what other StarCraft fans are online at the moment, without adding people on MSN or ICQ.
Thanks
Equiliari for the nice IRC
banners.
We used to have another channel, but this is now the official one.
Nice! See you soon on IRC
