[IMGL]http://www.starcraftwire.net/gallery/data/520/logo.gif[/IMGL]Here is a small update from the pro-gaming circuit for StarCraft:
KeSPA (Korean eSports Association) releases player rankings each month based on the wins accumulated during the past twelve months and each win gives a different number of points, more for recent games and less for older games.
Yesterday, KeSPA released the rankings for August. The top three players: Flash, Jaedong and Luxury (Terran and two Zerg, respectively) have maintained their positions on the ranking compared to the July rankings. But, Jaedong has inched very close to Flash and may take over Flash’s position as the top Korean player.
Also released at the beginning of this month were the results of the MBC offline preliminaries that lead up to the MSL (MBCgame StarLeague) one of the two StarLeagues in the Korean eSports scene, the other one being OSL (Ongamenet StarLeague).
Nice, it’s hard for me to keep track on the pro scene sometimes. The two names that I recognize are NaDa (16) and Saviour (22), both fell in places since the last rankings.
It’s interesting to see that even though Zerg has the lowest “representatives” in the top 30, they still fill two of the three top positions.

Oh, cheers Synt, I am just starting to get interested in the eSport-scene. I apreciate the heads-up =)
