This is a rumour so take it at face value: Community members have expressed concerns that the previously mentioned
StarCraft II Beta Invite start on the newly launched
Battle.net 2.0 might be an
elaborate hoax. No concrete evidence has been found to prove it a hoax, and Blizzard have not commented on the matter so we will keep you up to date on the issue.
If it
is a hoax, it's still a wake-up call for fans to register a
Battle.net account (
US site) and
opt-in for the StarCraft II Beta! If it's not a hoax, there would still be extremely few fans who would get a beta key, and not even positive that they would be vocal about it. It will likely take a statement from Blizzard to prove this claim right or wrong.
