The Colossus is a very cool unit in StarCraft II, and while we might not like to be mutilated enough to be put in one, it seems Philips have created a new Wireless Camera that looks a lot like the Colossus - gadtetified! You can almost see it walking around your desk up and down obstacles, shooting incoming opponents of other brands…
It’s a hi-resolution Bluetooth Web Camera Philips concept by Flynn Product Design, which surely must have been inspired by the Colossus at some point in its development. The legs are primarily made for visual effect, but the design is made so that the camera can point in a number of different directions with ease, and the legs help support it.
A ball and socket joint connecting the base and body units makes sure that the camera can be directed in almost any imaginable angle. Designed with ABS and Polypropylene, the dark blue/black colour is smooth enough to make anyone fall in love with it! As soon as it is available for purchase, I’ll get my very own StarCraft II Colossus Web Cam!
Interesting. If I see this thing, with its spidery legs I cannot help but think: If only this thing could walk and follow you around!
I want this >.< it looks cool - but you can bet I won’t use it
I’ll be keeping it inside it’s box
..if it’s not too expensive..that is.
