[edit] Game Unit

The Cobra is equipped with dual Eviscerator rail guns that deal extra damage to armored opponents. It can attack both ground and air units.

[edit] StarCraft II Unit

The Cobra is capable of attacking while on the move, proving to be very useful in hit and run tactics against the larger, slower units that it's designed to kill. Its primary role is to take out large, heavily armored units and receives a significant attack bonus against units such as Thor, Collossi and Siege Tanks.

It also has an electrical attack that will slow the movement speed of enemy units, providing an excellent support mechanism when faced with agile opponents such as Zerg Mutalisks.

The Cobra has since been removed from the game.

[edit] Upgrades

[edit] Development

The Cobra received an additional buff to its attack in October 2007 as part of the Q&A Batch 17, gaining the ability to slow enemy units with an electrical attack.

A short two months later in December saw the Cobra being dropped from the Terran lineup. It's role as the heavy and air unit counter is now filled by the Thor.
