Lockdown

Lockdown is a skill available to the Terran Ghost that allows it to temporarily disable a mechanical target for 60 seconds.

Lockdown works by shorting out the circuitry of the targeted mechanical unit. This will render it immobile for 60 seconds, and prevents it from being controlled or using any of its special abilities until the duration has expired. Unlike the Protoss Stasis Field, those units affected by Lockdown can still be attacked and destroyed.
Due to the reasonably high energy requirement, Lockdown is best saved for the more expensive enemy units - such as the Carrier or Battlecruiser. A few well placed Ghosts have been known to completely disable an enemy's air fleet with several Lockdowns.
Lockdown can also be used to disable several passive abilities, such as the Arbiter's Cloaking Field.
The following units are affected by Lockdown:
Zerg units are not affected since they are not mechanical. Terran SCVs can repair units under the effect of Lockdown.
