Arcturus Mengsk

Arcturus Mengsk is the current self-appointed, first emperor of the Terran Dominion. He was once a revolutionist who led the Sons of Korhal against the oppressive Confederacy. Jim Raynor, a former ally of Arcturus now leads a band of rebels, Raynor's Raiders against him, and his Terran Dominion, with Mengsk doing what he can to smear his reputation and undermine his efforts.
Mengsk was also a former mentor to Sarah Kerrigan, now Queen of Blades; he rescued her from Confederate hands, when she was then a test subject for psionic experiments. In gratitude, Sarah acted a lieutenant to Mengsk during his time as leader of the Sons of Korhal.
Mengsk also has a son, named Valerian Mengsk.
