The Terrans rely not only on the troops they can train on the battlefield but also on troops called from deep space. The Orbital Command allows the Terrans to make use of their orbital assets to support their fight on the ground. As an upgrade to the Command Center the Orbital Command can create Mules and serves as a drop location for collected resources. In addition it has several abilities that require energy.
These Mules have a limited lifespan, dependant on their batteries, and when they run out, they need to be replaced by additional mules.
[edit] Game Unit
The Mule is a one-purpose unit, who only harvest minerals. Although it can be seen as a worker, they lack the capability to actually produce buildings. It's primarily an addition to the game to increase macromanagement for players. To some degree it can be seen as a replacement for the increased ease that MBS brings to the game.
The offensive skills are on par with the SCV, and can only do very basic damage.
It cost 50 energy.
