Transport

Transports are units that can house other units in them, and communally transport the contents to another location of a map.

In StarCraft II, the races use more different system of transportation, that diversifies the style even further for them. Protoss uses different means of teleportation, the Terrans continue to use a Dropship, but have upgraded it to a Medivac Dropship and the Zerg now use a more advanced, and living Nydus Canal in the form of a Nydus Worm.

In StarCraft I, all races are more or less equal with their transportation capabilities, as they have similar means to transport, and the mechanic for the transport unit all works the same. The Protoss have their Shuttle, Terrans have the Dropship and Zerg upgrades the Overlord to carry units and fly faster.
