The armoured Vulture Hover Bike was originally used primarily for scouting the myriad wastelands of the various Terran colonies. Designed for extreme mobility and reliability, the Limited Gravity Hover Technology used by the Vulture allows it to travel over rough terrain without loss of traction or speed, and allows it to reach speeds of up to 230mph. While it is not designed for heavy combat situations, the bike-mounted grenade launcher makes this vehicle an extremely effective skirmisher against lightly armoured targets. Some Battlefield Commanders are known to outfit their Vultures with Spider Mine Deployment Systems to protect resource reserves and vital tactical locations.
